LB papers must be 2-4 page long, describing new research in any of the areas/topics of the CEC 2025 (check the original call for the list of areas/topics). Also, while LB papers are not fully peer reviewed (they will be checked for novelty, fitness and technical appropriateness with the conference), and hence won't be included in the Proceedings and will not be published.

To submit, simply go to the OpenReview submission website for the Late Breaking track of CEC 2025 (https://openreview.net/group?id=IEEE.org/CEC/2025/Late_Breaking#tab-your-consoles). LB papers are due April 1st, notifications will be made by April 10th, and final papers are due on May 1st.

Late Breaking papers will be presented at the Conference, orally or as a poster, during the days of the conference.
